Playboy Playmates: Playmate of the Month & Playmate of the Year

Updated · reviewed by a human

A Playboy Playmate is a woman Playboy names for a month of the year — printed "Miss <Month> <Year>" on her Playboy profile — with a Playmate of the Year named on top. These are the 29 documented on this registry, every title sourced to Playboy's own pages.

Who are the Playboy Playmates?

Playboy names a Playmate for each month of the year — the title is printed "Miss <Month> <Year>" on her profile page at playboy.com — and, on top of that, a Playmate of the Year. This page documents 29 Playmates who have a page on this registry: all 22 Playmates named since Playboy's print relaunch (every Miss from January 2025 to October 2026), every Playmate of the Year Playboy has named individually since 2016, and two earlier Playmates. Each title is sourced to Playboy's own profile page or article, listed newest first. This is our researched coverage, not Playboy's full Playmate Index — a name missing here means we haven't documented her yet, never that she wasn't a Playmate.

The documented roster · 29

Titles follow Playboy's own profile pages and articles; Playboy's galleries are members-only, so this page cites profiles and articles, never pictorials. Playboy's print magazine stopped after its Spring 2020 issue; Playboy named Playmates online into early 2021, none from March 2021 through 2024, then relaunched in print in February 2025 and now describes itself as a collectible quarterly. Playboy's web articles for the twelve "Miss <Month> 2025" Playmates are dated a year after their titles, because they were presented together in the Winter 2025-26 issue. Other national Playboy editions name their own Playmates; those titles are kept separate on each woman's page. VerifiedHer is not affiliated with Playboy.

Quick answers

What is a Playboy Playmate?

A Playboy Playmate is a woman Playboy names for one month of a year. Her title is printed "Miss <Month> <Year>" on her profile page at playboy.com, and each Playmate has a page and a gallery there. Playboy's own Playmate Index lists 125 Playmates on its current site. Separately, Playboy names a Playmate of the Year — a tradition Playboy's own February 2025 article dates back to 1960.

Who is the current Playboy Playmate?

As of our October 5, 2026 review, Playboy's own profile page names Vinetria its Miss October 2026; her page here is rated Unproven so far because no independent outlet has reported the title and her own account doesn't mention it. The 2026 Playmate of the Year is Mahina Florence, named on September 21, 2026 — Playboy's own headline calls her the first Native Hawaiian woman to hold the title.

Who has been Playboy Playmate of the Year?

From Playboy's own pages: Eugena Washington (2016, Miss December 2015), Brook Power (2017, Miss May 2016), Nina Daniele (2018, Miss April 2017) and Jordan Emanuel (2019, Miss December 2018). In March 2020 Playboy named all twelve of its 2019 Playmates that year's Playmates of the Year. No Playmate of the Year appears on Playboy's pages for 2021 through 2024. Gillian Nation was named 2025 Playmate of the Year on February 8, 2025, and Mahina Florence the 2026 Playmate of the Year on September 21, 2026. All of them except the 2020 class have pages here.

Does Playboy still name Playmates?

Yes. Playboy's print magazine stopped after its Spring 2020 issue, and Playboy named no Playmates from March 2021 through 2024. It relaunched in print in February 2025, presented twelve new Playmates — Miss January through Miss December 2025 — in its Winter 2025-26 issue, and has named a Miss for each month of 2026 so far.

How was the 2026 "People's Playmate" chosen?

Playboy's own articles say Lauren Summer won "The Great Playmate Search," a public vote with more than 1.7 million votes and more than 17,000 contestants, and was named the People's Playmate with a Miss February 2026 feature in the Spring 2026 issue. Playboy's pages don't explain how the other 2026 Playmates were chosen.

Is a Playmate the same as a Playboy Plus model or a Cyber Girl?

No. A Playmate of the Month is Playboy's own monthly title. Appearing on Playboy Plus, being a Cyber Girl, a cover subject, a Playboy Club Bunny, or a creator on Playboy's subscription platform are different things — and Playboy's other national editions name their own Playmates. Our separate Playboy Plus page covers documented Playboy-brand appearances.

Are the Playmates on this page real people?

19 of the 29 pages on this list carry a Real verdict, each resting on the documented evidence set out on her own page. 10 — Vinetria, Lydia Bielen, Hunny, Alexandria Finley, Louisa Ama, Lexi Drew, Mykeesha Nelson, Michelle Weisstuch, Noémie Neuens, Gayeanne Hazlewood — are rated Unproven so far: Playboy's own page names each of them, but either no independent outlet has reported the title yet or no account of hers is tied to it. A Playmate title is a documented fact about a name on Playboy's pages, not a verdict by itself, which is why every name links through to the full evidence page.
