Is Naina Avtr real?

No — Naina Avtr is not a real person: an openly disclosed AI persona.

Naina Avtr is a computer-made character, not a real woman. She is presented as a young woman from Jhansi, in Uttar Pradesh, who moved to Mumbai to become an actor. Her Instagram, @naina_avtr, had about 340,000 followers and 743 posts on October 21, 2026, and its display name calls her "India's First AI Superstar!"

Her account says so. It carries Instagram's "AI-generated profile" label; opened, it reads "naina_avtr added an AI label to their profile" and "This profile features an AI-generated person instead of a real human." Her maker says so too.

Avtr Meta Labs, a company set up by the Mumbai firm Concept Communication, announced her in October 2022 as "Naina, a 20-year Digital Avatar", and its own website described it as a "Meta Influencer Company" working with "3D and AI".

Why people ask: her YouTube channel, @NainaAvtr (about 526,000 subscribers on October 21, 2026), is written entirely in character, as "a 22-year-old creator from Jhansi" sharing "real-life experiences", with no AI wording. The disclosure is on her Instagram and in her maker's materials.

Her Instagram bio also lists three 2024 awards; those are her own claims, and we haven't checked them.

In 2025 her maker cast her as the lead of "Truth & Lies", a 12-episode micro-drama made with AI, according to Indian Television. A YouTube channel at @naina_avtr called "Digital naina" copies her Instagram bio but isn't hers.

Quick answers

Is every “Naina Avtr” online the same person?

No — the name gets tangled with others, and telling them apart is half the point of this page.

  • Naina is a common name in India. This page is only about the AI character @naina_avtr.
  • Kyra (@kyraonig) is a different Indian AI persona from a different company. See our Kyra page.

Scam & impersonation warnings

  • A YouTube channel at @naina_avtr, titled "Digital naina", copies her Instagram bio but isn't hers. Her official channel is @NainaAvtr, the one her maker named at launch.
  • Her YouTube videos are presented as a real young woman's life. The AI disclosure is on her Instagram profile and in her maker's statements, not in the channel description.
