Joanna Angel

Joanna Angel is a documented adult-entertainment performer, director and author with a more than two-decade public career. She is inducted into both the AVN Hall of Fame and the XRCO Hall of Fame, class of 2016 — the industry's own highest career honors — and was later inducted into the NightMoves Hall of Fame (2013) and the Urban X Hall of Fame (2023). She won the AVN Award for Best Supporting Actress twice (2017 and 2019) and the AVN Award for Best Virtual Reality Sex Scene (2017, with Abella Danger and Manuel Ferrara). Named third-party press documents her career independent of the industry's own award rosters: The New York Times profiled her by name in "Wearing Nothing but Attitude" (Robert Lanham, May 1, 2005), and CNBC named her among the "12 most popular porn stars" in coverage spanning 2011–2013. She founded the studio BurningAngel.com with Mitch Fontaine in April 2002, and her directing career continues well past that founding: she directed Casey: A True Story, a 2021 Adult Time film about fellow performer Casey Kisses's early life, tracked across named XBIZ production coverage from July through October 2021. She is a self-published author — her memoir, Night Shift, was published by Simon & Schuster and is sold through her own link-in-bio hub, which she runs directly and which also lists a signed-book storefront and a whiskey-brand collaboration. That same hub lists a premium subscription site and a separate VIP fan page; per site policy, no direct link to either paid platform appears on this unclaimed page. This page is unclaimed and compiled from public sources.
