imma
β Openly Virtual No β imma is not a real person: an openly disclosed AI persona.
imma posts fashion and city photos as @imma.gram. On October 21, 2026 the verified account had about 377,000 followers and 968 posts, and its bio read "Virtual girl in π―π΅".
It carries no Instagram AI label, but the account has called her virtual since at least January 2019, when an archived copy of the profile shows the bio "I am a virtual model."
Her maker says so too. Aww Inc., a Tokyo virtual-human company, lists her on its own site as "Japan's first virtual model" and adds that she is "not easy to tell she is virtual."
In a January 2025 interview, Aww's CEO said its virtual humans are built from original 3D computer-graphics data rather than with trending generative AI tools.
Why people ask: her pictures place a realistic computer-generated figure into real Tokyo scenes, and that was the point. Coverage in January 2019 described a CG character composited into real photographs and credited the CG studio ModelingCafe with the imagery; later coverage credits Aww, which manages her. In 2020 she appeared in an installation at IKEA's Harajuku store.
In December 2024 Aww also showed "AI imma", an interactive chat agent trained on her persona; that is a separate product from the Instagram character. This page is about the account; it makes no claim about any real person who may appear in its photos. It is unclaimed and compiled from public sources.
